Ava Lodge Policies

Check-in & out

  • Check-in is available from 2pm on the day of arrival – Early check-ins may be available by arrangement
  • Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure - Late check-outs may also be available by arrangement



  • Made up to 48 hours before the booked date will not incur charges
  • With less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the total amount for the booked accommodation being charged up to the value of 48 hours (2 days)


Changes in reservation term

  • Any change in reservation dates may be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply as per the Cancellation Policy
  • Any extension to a booking is subject to the availability of rooms
  • Departure earlier than the reserved date may not result in a refund if the motel is unable to re-let the booked
  • Accommodation
  • No shows will be charged up to the value of 48 hours (2 nights) accommodation



  • We operate a strictly non-smoking environment in our premises
  • If you smoke in your room, we reserve the right to charge cleaning charges up-to $250



  • We welcome all guest to use the kitchen facilities – however out of respect to other guests we request NO
  • COOKING of seafood, fish, or highly spiced foods
  • If this policy is not adhered to, we reserve the right to charge $250 to remove any residual strong odours



  • Guests receive FREE unlimited WiFi
  • It is prohibited to illegally download copyright materials
  • If you log into our system, you are responsible for the content of all downloads



  • No pets are permitted on the premises.  This includes the Lodge Carpark, inside the Lodge Communal Areas or Guest Rooms.
  • The only exception to this rule are registered Guide Dogs.



  • Registered guests are responsible for visitors on the property
  • No visitors are to come to the premises after 10pm
  • Damages to our property and any associated costs with inappropriate behaviour by the guest or their visitors will be charged to the registered guest
