A two minute walk and you are on Jackson Street spoilt for choice with 65+ Eateries for Brunch, Snacks or Fine Cuisine - explore the gorgeous Boutique Shops, Op-Shops full of treasures and tempting specialty treats such as Hand Painted Chocolates & Dutch Cheese .... Or maybe a jaunt down to the beach for a peaceful walk or paddle just two blocks down the road.

To venture further to Wellington City, Interisland Ferry, Te Papa Museum, the Airport or perhaps the Queensgate Mall -               

Buses are on the next block - the Trains and Eastbourne Ferry are within walking distance for the fit - or simply call an Uber or Taxi...

At the end of your day return to Ava Lodge for a comfortable restful sleep in your Room.
